With the rapid development of economy and the rising of car ownership, traffic congestion has become a worldwide problem. Countries around the world constantly research new intelligent traffic management system in order to solve the problem of urban traffic congestion, among which traffic information platform displays is an important part. Besides, it is also the indispensable tool to ease the phenomena of urban traffic congestion. Based on floating cars, the thesis uses the design idea of MVC to research and develop the traffic information interaction platform, which provides a new way of obtaining traffic information for travelers and managers.Firstly, aimed at the quality of all original data from floating cars, the paper carries on the pre-processing of original data and map matching. The cause of producing abnormal data is analyzed in the former, which also accordingly deals with the duplicate data, the incorrect data, the deviate data and the missing data. The details conclude eliminating the duplicate data and the incorrect data, repairing the missing data and removing the deviate data by ARCGIS buffer, and then operate map matching. The latter summarizes common algorithms of map matching, analyzes the advantages and disadvantages of all kinds of them, puts forward a query efficiency priority principle to choose the algorithm of map matching based on the demand of traffic information interaction platform, and adopts direct projection method to conduct map matching at last. This method not only meets the accuracy requirement of the platform, but also has high query efficiency.Secondly, this article proceeds the estimation of the section travel speed and uses the average travel speed of sections as an evaluation standard of road conditions. Before the work, the partition of road sections and direction angle calculation of line segments were done. In addition, this part determines the section average travel speed of many cars as the estimation of section average velocity combined with traffic planning and design specification of urban roads. The article respectively considers advantages and disadvantages between the larger and smaller interval in terms of choice of time interval and chooses the reasonable interval scope and time interval.Finally, Combined with the Baidu Map API, the thesis develops the traffic information interaction platform adopting the development environment of APACHE+PHP+ORACLE, with which users experience better, query efficiency is higher and the operation is more stable. Moreover, the platform achieves functions of the recording of dynamic track, the carousel of vehicle dynamic position and the displaying of road condition, which saves the cost of travel time and provides more efficient information for travelers and managers.
