Along with the rapid increase of energy, nuclear power as clean energy hold the indispensable status, nuclear power plant construction is increasing. And the foundation’s evaluation of the location of the project is an important content, because of the harmfulness of nuclear materials, so the foundation evaluation of nuclear power plant is particularly important.The paper is depending on the project of geotechnical engineering survey on nuclear power plant of Xiaomo mountain in Hunan(The feasibility study). To get the qualitative analysis and the quantitative evaluation of the main power plant(Pressure Shell and ChangGuiDao),the cooling tower and the other areas of Xiaomo mountain in Hunan. The major work is:1, Analyzing Geological conditions, Hydrological geology, Engineering geology of nuclear power plant of Xiaomo mountain in Hunan, evaluating the Geological conditions.2, Calculate characteristic value of subgrade bearing capacity and rock seismic capacity characteristic value in research areas, foundation bearing capacity and uniformity was evaluated.3, Analyzing the various factors, establishs evaluation index system about the foundation stability of Xiaomo mountain in Hunan . and then to get the comprehensive geological division, the membership degree of every factor, using the comprehensive judgment method to determine the weight, and finally using fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method to evaluate each part of research areas.
