Analyzing the existing patterns of exhaust energy being utilized on vehicle, it is sure that changing exhaust energy into electrical energy is the most effective way of utilizing exhaust energy. By the exergy analytical approach of the second law of thermodynamics, emissions energy loss in exhaust emission of engine was analysed, and rare-earth permanent magnetic electricity generation recycling exaust energy could reduce the loss effectively.By the ANSYS/FLOTRAN software, the structure of exhaust branch was simulated and its fluid analysis was done. On the basis of the simulation’s result, the radian of the pipe was optimized. So the structure of the MPC exhaust system, which could make full use of vehicles’ exhaust energy, was designed.The structural parameters and thermodynamic parameters of the turbine were calculated. Stress and vibration on the turbine blades were analyzed. Radial turbine with tangential, pear sectional inflow of air volute, was designed.The structural parameters and electromagnetic parameters of the high-speed permanent magnet generator were calculated. The high-speed permanent magnet generator rotor with the installation of the protection sleeve was designed, and the stator roled with multi-strand windings, which was constituted with multi-ply stator laminations were designed.Paper modeled the internal thermal circuit of generator, and got solve equations to solve the average temperature of the stator’s various parts. Using ANSYS software, the model of high-speed permanent magnet generator with six slot stators and twelve slots stator was built, and the results were analysed. The number of stator slot of the high-speed permanent magnet generator was finalized to six.The paper finally designed the rare-earth permanent magnetic electricity generation recycling exaust energy by turbine. Its output voltage is stable and its main performance index satisfied the design requirement.
