Study On The Spatial Economic Connection And The Economic Radiation Of The Capital Cities In Anhui Province

Due to the development of economic globalization and the deepening of reform and opening up,the connection between areas is also increasing. The research of regional economic connection has gradually become a hot issue of geography and economics.At the same time, the connection between regions and units in a country has been strengthened and the related research is also growing. The research content includes connection between urban agglomerations provinces and counties. The study of regional economic ties between areas and discussions of the main direction and contact strength to foreign economic relations is helpful to know the position and role of the regional development in a large area and provide theoretical basis and decision support for the rational development of area and function orientation. Researches of the geopolitical economic relations of areas help to clear the industrial cooperation types, so as to adjust the industrial structure and realize the complementary industrial structure to avoid similar industrial structure.The article take Anhui province as research object, based on the related theory of regional economics, economic geography and regional economics.The research constructs models to measure economic ties and the model of geopolitical economic relations, to get regional space economic quantity of Anhui province.Combining with traffic accessibility model,we can obtain the main direction of contact and geo-economic relations with surrounding provinces of Anhui province. Through the analysis of the research articles on the subject, the paper gets the following conclusions:(1) Through the analysis of economic ties of Anhui province and the surrounding provinces and regions, we know the basic direction of economic ties of Anhui province is east to the Yangtze river delta. The size of the economic ties mainly embodied in economic ties between the central cities. Through the result of measurement, the quantity of Anhui economic ties with Nanjing, Hangzhou is biggest; Measuring from the geopolitical economic relations, the connection between Anhui and Jiangsu, Zhejiang has strong complementary.(2) The economical radiation big cities in neighboring provinces and regions to cities in Anhui province presents a distribution of fan, the radiation intensity decreases with the increase of distance. By measuring quantity of economic ties between district cities in Anhui province and the the provincial capital city Hefei, we know Hefei has a bigger radiation ability for cities closing to it, so the edge cities have a larger economic radiation in Anhui province by the adjacent provinces。(3) As the capital city of Anhui province, Hefei has a prominent centricity, and the amount of economic ties is outstanding, but the economy remains to be improved. From the analysis of the strength of the major cities in every province, the comprehensive strength of Hefei is weak and has a large difference compared with Nanjing, Hangzhou, Wuhan, Zhengzhou, Jinan and other cities. From the analysis of amount of economic ties between Hefei and the prefecture levels in Anhui province, the economic ties between Hefei city and the prefecture levels in Anhui province are greater than1.Hefei city has a bigger economic impact on Lu’An city and Huainan city, but it has a limited economic impact on the edge cities in Anhui province such as Huaibei, Bozhou and Huangshan.In order to promote the further economical development of Anhui province, the article puts forward the following countermeasures and suggestions:(1)Strengthen further economic ties with Yangtze river delta and expand the scale of the industry transfer;(2) Strengthen the economic ties with neighboring provinces and regions and promote regional linkage development;(3) Improve the transportation infrastructure construction in the province and outside the province and construct a more complete transportation network;(4) To further improve the economic status of the provincial capital Hefei to expand its economic radiation.The innovation of this article is mainly reflected in two aspects:the methods and the content. First of all, the paper has carried on a correction to the gravity model. More influence elements of regional economic ties has been considered,which are quite different comparaed to previous factors. Secondly, the article take the typical area—Anhui province as the research object, has a detailed research of the contact of a province and neighboring provinces,which provide relevant reference for the establishment of regional development strategy, but also enrich the content of research on the theory of economic ties.
