Following the implementation of the eastern Russia’s development strategy in2007, a series of regional development policy was put into effect, which had made theeastern Russia play an increasingly important role in Russian economic development. On the basis of economic data and econometric theory, the thesis put four elements intoCobb-Douglas production function and calculates the contribution rate of each elementby regression analysis. The analysis indicates that capital and natural resources are themost important factors in the rapid economic growth of the eastern Russia, while thehuman resource and technology are less important. In the end, the thesis proposes thedirection and emphasis of regional economic cooperation between China and Russia, which have great contribution to not only the future economic development in easternRussia and but also the new opportunities of cooperation between China and Russia.
