| Food is an important strategic material for agricultural production and a necessity for people’s life.Ensuring food security is of great significance for maintaining social stability and national security.However,at present,there are problems of "tight balance" between supply and demand,prominent structural contradictions in China’s food production.The task of ensuring national food security is still arduous.As one of the 13 major grain producing areas in China,Henan Province’s grain output has made an important contribution to ensuring national food security.However,there are still problems in Henan’s grain production,such as low production efficiency,land output rate and labor productivity lower than the national average level,which has brought great challenges to Henan’s continuous improvement of its comprehensive grain production capacity and the building of an important national grain production core area.As an important symbol of modern agriculture,the popularization and use of agricultural mechanization can adjust the industrial structure,improve agricultural labor productivity,land output rate and resource utilization rate,so as to improve the per unit area yield of grain.Therefore,the contribution of agricultural mechanization to grain output can’t be ignored.Firstly,this paper expounds the action mechanism of Agricultural Mechanization on grain output by using the transformation of traditional agriculture theory and induced change theory,and arranges and analyzes the relevant literature at home and abroad.On this basis,using Cobb Douglas(C-D)production function method and cluster analysis method,this paper calculates and analyzes the contribution rate of agricultural mechanization to grain output from time and space from the panel data of agricultural input and output of 18 prefecture level cities in Henan Province from 2001 to 2019,and explores the influencing factors of the contribution rate of Agricultural Mechanization in Henan Province with the help of grey correlation analysis method,it is concluded that:(1)the planting area of grain and chemical fertilizer has a significant negative impact on the total employment of grain and chemical fertilizer industry in Henan Province.(2)The contribution rate of agricultural mechanization to grain output in Henan Province has great variability in different years,and the contribution rate of each production input factor is the highest,which is 21.87%.(3)There are obvious differences in the contribution rate of Agricultural Mechanization in different regions of Henan Province.According to the different levels of agricultural economic development in Henan Province,Henan Province is divided into three regions by cluster analysis.The contribution rates of Agricultural Mechanization in each region are 53.35%,42.53% and 8.27% respectively.(4)The economic level of farmers has the greatest impact on the contribution rate of Agricultural Mechanization in Henan Province,followed by the total sown area of crops per capita,financial expenditure for agriculture,agricultural irrigation area and labor education.Combined with the results of empirical analysis,this paper puts forward some suggestions on broadening the channels of increasing farmers’ income,advocating the appropriate large-scale management of land,increasing the supporting policies for agricultural mechanization,improving the construction of rural infrastructure,improving the quality of agricultural workers and adjusting and optimizing the structure of agricultural mechanization. |
