With the development of globalization under the background of information andservices, application and development of software industry in the national sector,development of the software industry is increasingly important, with the emphasis onthe development of software industry,2002China began the Chinese Ministry ofIndustry hundred the selection of software companies, software companies hundredenterprises accounted for a very small proportion of the number and made to promotethe development of software industry and promote structural adjustment has played apivotal role in the current location of the study of software is becoming a hot spot, thecurrent location Research hundred software companies is still relatively small, thisarticle attempts hundred software companies from the perspective of geographicalresearch to find a new way to study the software industry location.In this paper, the theory and method of urban geography and economicgeography, combined research methods Company geography, GIS and othermulti-disciplinary theoretical support obtained through literature searches, throughthe establishment of GIS database for spatial analysis, the theoretical basis of theliterature retrieval, with case analysis, from the multi-level, multi-angle to explorelocational characteristics of China ’s software industry hundred enterprises and theimpact factor analysis, the last hundred software companies to develop characteristicswere studied. This paper is divided into six chapters three parts, the main contents aresummarized as follows: The first part includes three chapters, is the significance ofthe research background, rationale and literature review. First chapter introduces thebackground and significance of the thesis proposed research methods, research andinnovation route. The second chapter is related to the theoretical study and literaturereview, the paper mainly in the industrial chain theory and industry cluster theory, thestudy of corporate headquarters location and the software industry geographical areaswere reviewed, and finally in the software industry and related concepts are defined.The third chapter is current development of China’s software industry, respectively,from the distribution pattern of the development process, development situation, spatial profiles of the three aspects of the development of the software industryoverview summarized. The second part of the article is divided into four or fivechapters, is the main part of the paper, space for China ’s corporate head quartershundred software distribution and influencing factors are analyzed and influencingfactors are analyzed, Chapter Five hundred software companies for the developmentof the evolution characteristics, respectively, from the development of features andcharacteristics of the type of organizational structure of two hundred companies wereanalyzed. The sixth chapter is the last part of the paper, is the full text summary andoutlook, the paper summarized the main conclusions and future research prospects.In the course of research on the location of the top software companies in China,We found that the apparent spatial agglomeration pattern of Chinese softwareenterprises。Macro location presents a distribution pattern of triangles along the axis,Meso region focused mainly on national or regional economic central city,Someprovinces showed how development mode, showing a trickle-down effect,In terms ofmicro-location, found more than enterprises located in urban areas than suburbandistribution. In terms of impact factors, the author discusses impact of macro-,meso-and micro-elements, Macro and meso factors include natural environment,geographical location, socio-economic and industrial structures, knowledge spillovers,environment, urban planning and policy guidance in six areas, While Nature of theenterprise, internal transportation, public amenity, entrepreneurial behavior preferenceis affecting the micro-factors influencing the spatial distribution of the softwareindustry.
