| Cloud computing is changing the way we get information and computingresources. In the future, it will become easy for people to get a variety of IT resourcesincluding hardware and sotfware as the way we get water. Cloud computing industryis the new engine of economic growth around the world,therefore, the issue on cloudcomputing companies’ growth is not only concerned by the business world but alsobecomes a hot research topic in academic world.This paper selected41listed cloud computing enterpirses as samples and collectedfinancial data of sample enterpirses from the year2008to the year2012, all togetherfive years, to do the empirical analysis in order to study the relationship between themanagement constraints and the growth ability of the listed cloud computingcompanies of our country based on the Penrose Theory. And then the paper proposedrecommendations in accordance with the existing problems in cloud computingcompanies of China. This paper consists of five parts. The ifrst chapter is theintroduction part. It mainly introduced the background, purpose and significance ofthis research and clarified the study scope as well as study methods and framework ofthis thesis. Chapter two contained the related theory and the overview of domestic andforeign-related research. The third chapter was chiefly about the growth status ofcloud computing enterprises in our country. The fourth chapter was an empiricalanalysis of the relationship between management constraints and the capability oflisted cloud computing corporations. In this chapter, there were three sectors. Firstly,the listed companies’ growth ability index was described statistically. Secondly, wedid the empirical test to check the relation between management constraints and thecapability of listed cloud computing corporations by multiple linear regressionanalysis. Finally we summairzed the result of the empiircal analysis and made somerecommendations regarding the management of our cloud computing companies. Theiffth chapter is the conclusion.Through the empirical analysis,the following two conclusions can be drawn inthis paper. The first one is that the relationship between the growth of management personnel quantity and the listed cloud computing companies is not a single linearrelationship, but an" inverted U type "The second conclusion is that the relationshipbetween the growth of management personnel proportion and the listed cloudcomputing companies is not a single linear relationship, but an" inverted U type ",Inanother word, when the management personnel quantity or proportion improves thelisted cloud computing companies’ growth ability will improve as well. Nevertheless,the companies’ growth ability will drop if the management personnel quantity orproportion improves beyond a certain extent. This research has a certain referencevalue for listed cloud computing companies in China to enhance their growth ability. |
