| Currently, with more and more intense tendency of integration of world economy and enterprise globalization, the competitions between companies are becoming more and more severe. While more and more individualized customer requirements cause increasing of uncertainty. In this intense competition circumstance, the profits of enterprises become thinner and thinner. Moreover, enterprises are faced with big challenges and pressures of shortening lead time, enhancing product quality, reducing cost, improving service level and increasing customer satisfaction finally. Nowadays, the competitions between enterprises are shifting from traditional low cost competition to the competition of Supply Chain. So how to manage supply chain well and how to make better use of suppliers already became a very most important step for enterprises to reduce costs, increase profits, enhance efficiency and competitiveness.In the thesis, it mainly uses the theory and methods of Supply Chain Management and Supplier Management, at the same time considering the business and current issues of CI company, assesses CI company’s whole supplier management system, analyzes the reasons, proposes and implements the improvement actions and countermeasures from the core factors of supplier management, including supplier management process and key points, sourcing strategy and supplier classification, supplier selection and assessment, supplier qualification management, supplier performance management, supplier development and supplier relationship management. After implementing all the improvement actions, we achieved a lot of success. It also made CI company achieved better supplier management system and suppliers’ performance, more cost reduction, more competitive advantages and profits.The research findings of this thesis meet the requirements of company’s supplier management, promote the standardization of supplier management jobs. It has great significance for CI company and reference for similar enterprises’ supplier management. |
