With the development of the global economic cooperation, it has been a trend that more and more middle and large enterprises globalize their supply chain. Through the network of global supply chain, the goods, funds and information flow very fast among countries. Under this strategy of global supply chain, the supplier, as the beginning of the production and service providing, becomes so important to the entire supply chain. However, because of the differences of economy, views of value, culture, region of the different countries, there are many risks existing in many parts of the global supply chain such as the quality of products, on-time delivery, costs, service, company social responsibilities, innovation and many other areas.By research the theory of global supply chain and the management of supplier, and study the case of Elmer’s Products, Inc., this article tried to research the management methods of global suppliers. This article studies the Elmer’s Pentagon Model which includes five viable of the supplier’s, which is cost, quality, on-time delivery, service and social responsibility. By giving a weight of these five factors, the enterprise can define the importance of different factors.The advantage of this method is enterprise can easily add in additional factors in and adjust the weight of different factor, and also the enterprise can easily execute this management method within the global supply chain.
