Energy is the driving force of economic development, there is no energy, economy and society will not function properly. 2015 government report proposed to vigorously develop new energy sources, and strengthen the use of renewable energy, control the total energy consumption and Strengthening energy conservation during the key energy resource areas and expand the scope of ad valorem tax, which pointed out the direction for our future energy revolution. Energy saving, energy revolution has become an inevitable trend. economic development is inseparable from energy, there are still some problems about sustainable energy development in Beijing, we get the problems from the real issue, and analyzing energy consumption depend on the influencing factors of energy consumption, then To give some useful suggestion about Beijing energy saving work.The whole idea of the paper: first understand the reality of energy consumption of Beijing by studying the current situation of energy development; secondly demonstrate the relationship between economic development and energy consumption. energy consumption is the cause of economic development, to a certain extent, restrict economic development. economic development impact on energy consumption; there are still some problems about energy development in Beijing, while energy consumption is very important for economic development, so nextly we let energy consumption factors be the entry point for analysis, to explore how energy factors influence on the energy consumption. Understanding these later, we control the bad factors and use the good facts effectively, to provide effective suggestions for Beijing to continue energy saving work. Specific methods and conclusions:To begin with, the true situation of the energy consumption of energy in Beijing has been investigated from the descriptive analysis and the comparison between Beijing and other cities from the dimension of energy production and consumption over the years, GDP energy consumption in ten thousand yuan area, energy consumption structure, the distribution of energy consumption, energy consumption elasticity coefficient.Secondly, we get the relationship between energy consumption and economic development through co-integration test, Granger causality test and establish the error correction model study. Finding that the presence of long-term equilibrium relationship exist between energy consumption and economic development, the energy consumption and economic development is the Granger reason of each other. that is, the energy consumption is the cause of economic development, as well as affecting the economic development of the energy consumption. Economic and social need developing, we can not stop the development of economy, so the importance of energy saving is obvious.Then, this paper based on the analysis of energy consumption factors, to study the energy consumption, and to study how to promote energy-saving work better:(1) First, combined with the reality of experience, according to energy demand and consumption theory, do qualitative analysis about the energy consumption factors(economic development, Energy prices(the price index of fuel and power), the energy consumption structure(the proportion of coal consumption), technical progress(intensity of energy consumption), the industrial structure(the second、third industry output value accounted for proportion of GDP), population, urbanization level);(2) then through the gray absolute correlation, the relative correlation degree and comprehensive correlation to measure the association of energy consumption and the factors(about geometry similarity, the rate of change of both the size and the overall association), finding that the correlation of the proportion of tertiary industry output, population, energy prices and the level of economic development and energy consumption are high, while the correlation of other four affected factors and energy consumption is lower.(3) and then through the VAR model, do impulse response analysis on the factors and energy consumption, give a shock to the factors to study the short-term and long-term response of energy consumption. Found that an increase in energy consumption intensity, to increase the proportion of coal consumption(energy consumption structure), and rapid economic development has played a positive role in the long-term on the level of energy consumption stability; second industrial output value acted as a positive role to Energy consumption initially, after a period of a few negative effects appeared, but its positive effect was significantly greater than the negative effect; the proportion of tertiary industry output increasion and improve the level of urbanization play a weak positive effect on energy consumption.(4) Finally, by the variance decomposition analysis the degree of the affection of factoers of energy consumption, the result is, the proportion of coal consumption, energy consumption intensity, the level of economic development and the proportion of second industrial output value play a greater role in energy consumption, which means improving technical level, reduce energy consumption intensity; reasonable adjustment of energy consumption structure, reasonable adjustments to control coal consumption; continue to optimize the industrial structure, to achieve energy saving purposes fasterly and better.Finally, put forward effective countermeasures and suggestions based on its own characteristics of Beijing and the analysis results, such as from the energy consumption structure and industrial structure adjustment, increase investment to improve the technical level and to intensify propaganda and so on.
