Research On The Performance Of Transaction - Based Leadership Based On Followers' Behavior Patterns

Under the background of market competition, companies face huge pressure and challenge. Leadership effectiveness of becomes an important influence factors of organizational development and change, so the relationship between leadership behavior and leadership effectiveness has become the research focus of scholars. And a correct and effective leadership is not purely on the wisdom and the will of the individual leaders, but led by the team’s collective wisdom and a large number of followers effectively followership. Followers as an important part in the organization, the personality and behavior of followers will have deeply influence on leadership effectiveness.The effects of transactional leadership on leadership effectiveness have been verified in many researches, but studies on the mediating mechanism between the two are still relatively lacking, especially studies that take followers as a mediator. This thesis collected 153 leaders and followers to do the pairing surveys and used statistical methods-hierarchical regression analysis, correlation analysis, to check sample data and analyzed the relationship among transactional leadership behaviors, leadership effectiveness and followers.The thesis found that:(1) transactional Leadership has a significant positive prediction effect on and leadership effectiveness;(2) obedience follower behavior has an intermediary function between transformational leadership and satisfaction to leaders.(3) rational follower behavior and obedience follower behavior has an intermediary function between transformational leadership and satisfaction to leaders.
