After the closing of the 2014 NPC, "national new urbanization plan(2014-2020)" as the next five to ten years guidance in the urbanization process in China’s latest implementation program has been implemented across the country. After the report of Eighteenth National Congress of the Communist Party, the Chinese party and government raised the need to vigorously promote the construction of urbanization once again, and rural reform must be completed in the same process. And we want to focus on completing "human urbanization", while finishing the construction of social, ecological and other aspects. Urbanization strategy has become the focus of our efforts in the next period of development. After the eighties of last century, as China’s rapid economic growth, urbanization also had been fast forwarded. By the end of 2014, China’s urbanization rate has reached 54.77%, which is more than three times of it in the start of the reform and opening up. But growth of the urbanization rate did not improve the quality of China’s urbanization, the contradiction of the urban and rural income gap is in an expansion situation as the rapid development of urbanization. Urbanrural income ratio is maintained at about three times in the last decade. In the aspect of economy system, the household registration system have a huge negative effect on narrowing the income gap between urban and rural areas. In such a case, to research the influence of how the income gap between urban and rural was effected by urbanization has a great meaning to speed up the urbanization and reduce income inequity. The existence of urban-rural income gap is bound to cause social resource allocation imbalances, not only restricts the quality of China’s economic growth will also affect the harmony of the whole society. Through academic research and theories learning, the paper reviews the process, the characteristics and the current status of the development of China’s urbanization and urbanrural income gap from 1949 and their causes has be summarized. Based on current situation, we will select different aspects of urbanization, such as people, economic, social and land, to establish a comprehensive index system. After using entropy evaluation method of China’s urbanization 1993-2013, the paper will make a comprehensive measure, based on this analysis and the factor analysis the paper will explore impact of all aspects of urbanization on the income gap between urban and rural residents. The full text contains six chapters: The first chapter points out the background and significance of this topic research, this study on the contents, methods and structures. The second chapter reviews the findings summarized scholars from urbanization, income disparity and the related impact of two of the three aspects of the relevant literature made finishing and presentation. The fourth chapter describes the methods described in positive terms that will be used. To be used to establish the index system entropy method to make reports, brief given principal component analysis and factor analysis method works. Related to the interpretation and analysis made by the fifth chapter index system, the use of two decades of relevant statistical data, using the measurement methods yield different impact on different aspects of urbanization, the income gap between urban and rural areas, and the measurement result. Chapter VI concluded according to the measurement results of the past two decades, at different points in time on the various aspects of urbanization of rural income has a significant change in the size of the impact is not only different, but the direction of the impact on also changed.
