A Study On The Relationship Between External Knowledge Cooperation And Technological Innovation Performance

In today’s knowledge economy era, the technology changes speedily, the market competition becomes increasingly fierce, product life cycle shortened sharply, the competition between enterprises change from competing to the win-win situation. External knowledge cooperation become some of the important strategic choice of improving enterprise technology innovation performance. An important characteristic of enterprise cooperative innovation is based on knowledge. Cooperation between enterprises in knowledge innovation can make the enterprise get fast, low-cost access to knowledge resources. And the ascension of technological innovation performance of enterprise requires not only obtaining new knowledge through external cooperation, need more enterprise constantly learning and absorbing the knowledge gained from the external environment and transforming into actual technology innovation ability, improving the enterprise technology innovation performance.This paper firstly reviewed the research of external cooperation, technology innovation performance, the relationship between them and the knowledge of absorptive capacity at home and abroad.At the same time, this paper uses the theory of knowledge management, knowledge absorptive capacity, technology innovation and related disciplines, further summarizes the analysis of external knowledge collaboration can be divided into compact, reciprocal type and ownership type three dimensions on the basis of our predecessors’ existing research and related model. Technology innovation performance will be divided into economic efficiency performance, innovation ability performance and market competition performance. Then put forward some assumptions of the relationship between external knowledge cooperation and technology innovation performance. Use the questionnaire research, use SPSS software as analysis tool, empirical study was carried out on the questionnaire data obtained, to verify the rationality of the model and related assumptions and effectiveness.Through theoretical analysis and quantitative empirical research, this paper found that the compact and ownership type of external knowledge cooperation have a positive influence on all three dimensions of technological innovation performance. Mutual external knowledge cooperation has a positive impact on the technical innovation economic efficiency performance and innovation ability performance, but the influence on the technological innovation market competition performance is negative. When enterprises choose different external knowledge collaboration, the modulation effects of knowledge absorptive capacity to external knowledge cooperation and technology innovation performance are also different.
