Study On The Spatio - Temporal Characteristics Of Passenger Flow In Linzhi Area Of ​​Tibet And Its Optimization Strategy

With the sustainable development of tourism and the change of post-modernism tourism, frontier areas become the preferred place to adventure and experience for the young and middle-aged. These places are evolved into tourist hotspots area gradually. Nyingchi, located in the southeast of Tibet, has a vast frontier and 13 minority groups. Hence, it spawns rich and unique natural resources and colorful and magical human resources. In addition, travel time distribution of tourism flow and spatial behavior characteristics always been one of the mainstream tourism researches. Therefore, this article studies the time distribution of tourism flow and spatial behavior characteristics of Nyingchi and provides some suggestions for the tourism development for Nyingchi.First of all, this paper reviews the domestic and international research on the time features of tourism flow, spatial behavior characteristics and tourism researches in Nyingchi, clearly define the concept of frontier tourism area and reviews the related theory like tour resort life cycle, travel system as the theoretical basis of the article. The research analyzes the cycle wave characteristics of the annual, monthly and daily tourism flow by seasonal index, filtering analysis method. By space analysis, the paper analyzes tourists choice mode, utilization intensity of typical travel routes and the spatial structure of the tourist market. Finally, according to the above conclusion, offering some relevant recommendations from the time distribution of tourism flow optimization, spatial characteristics integrated optimization and safeguard measures of tourism destination, in order to promote tourism development in Nyingchi.This study concluded:(1) The tourism industry of Nyingchi has experienced three phases of development and it is in the third phase of development stage currently; (2) It presents strong seasonal characteristics. These mouths of May to October are the peak seasons, July and August come to top, December to February of the last year are the slack seasons, others are the shoulder seasons; (3) Holidays are the peak stages and distribution concentrated, first is the National Day, follow by the Dragon Boat Festival, Mid-Autumn Festival and the Peach flower Festival; (4) Scenic attractions on high popularity and grade is more popular with tourists and be loved, also, these towns surrounded with scenic attractions are easy to be the first choice for the tourists to stay and overnight; (5) Tourists travel along with G318 so as to form several classic tourist lines which are intensity using; (6) Tourist market appear on the whole provincial distance attenuation phenomenon and provincial reverse distance attenuation phenomenon, at last, the neighboring provinces and the economical developed of the coastal provinces are the core market.This study enriched the research of tourist flow and spatial behavior in frontier tourism areas and fills the gap in this aspect research in Nyingchi. So, it has an important theory value and practical meaning.
