The Response Of Tourist Flows To Spatial-time

Space-time distribution features of tourist flow and the optimization of regionaltourism resources are important research for tourism, but few the domestic or foreign scholars haveresearched on the correlation of these two factors. Sichuan province has rich tourism resources of thesouthwest area in china.We sampled the LeShangiantBuddha, E’meimountain, JiuZhaiGou, Yellowdragon,Dujiangyan, Qingcheng mountain6famous scenic spots in Sichuan provinceas a case, establishing tourismresources and tourist flows measurement methods, respectively. In the tourism resource measurementmethods, through the average urban center distance (D) and space discrete index (e), reveals characteristicsof different types of tourist space of Sichuan province; In the tourist flows measurement, through touristflow concentration index (r), golden week travel passenger weeks concentration index (R), golden weektravel flow weeks of skewness distribution index (G), reveal that during the year and golden weekpassenger flows characteristics. Correlation analysis of passenger flow characteristics of scenic spots andPerson correlation coefficient, the results show that temporal distribution for the tourist flows have strongcorrelation between the scenic spots. At the same time, the regional tourism structure of tourist flowdistribution of time response. Finally, the spatial distribution of six scenic area in Sichuan province and therelated degree between the scenic spots, through clustering analysis, divided into six major tourism platespaces and tourism cities levels in Sichuan,optimize the tourism resources of Sichuan province, improvethe competitiveness of the tourism and status of Sichuan province.
