Study On The Development Strategy Of Potato Industry In Wulanchabu City

the potato is the world’s fourth largest food crop, and it is the fifth major grain crops in our country which is following the rice, wheat, corn, soybean,And China has the world’s largest potato planting area and yield in the world.Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region is a major province of potato production in China, and Wulanchabu is famous nationwide "Chinese potato capital".the potato is important because it not only can be used as grain and vegetables, but also can be used as feed, so the development of potato industry has important significance to improve grain yield and promote farmers’ income.this paper reviewed the domestic and foreign documents and relevant materials, and carried out further research in Wulanchabu City, analyzed carefully contrast the development of potato industry in Wulanchabu investigation at present, found the factors and problems which restrict its development, thus put forward the strategic countermeasures, which provide scientific basis for Wulanchabu City potato planting unit, processing enterprises and research institutes.this paper takes the development of potato industry in Wulanchabu city as the research object, firstly introduces the research background and research significance, secondly introduces the current development of potato industry in Wulanchabu city to support policy, especially on the competitiveness of potato industry in Wulanchabu city, and introduces the current situation of the development of other regional competitors, which bases on the advantages of Wulanchabu City, at last put forward the strategic measures for the development of potato industry in Wulanchabu city.
