Study On Potato Industry Competitiveness In Wulanchabu

Wulanchabu city is located in the internationally recognized potato gold industry zone,and the potatoes produced are rich in nutrients.At present,Wulanchabu city has become an important production base of seed potato,commercial potato and special potato for processing in China.Potato is the characteristic industry of Wulanchabu city and the pillar industry to promote the income of farmers and herdsmen.However,with the vigorous development of potato industry in China,the potato planting area and scientific research level in various provinces and cities are constantly improving,and the potato industry in Wulanchabu city is also facing new challenges.To improve the competitiveness of potato industry has become an urgent need of Wulanchabu city.Studying the competitiveness of potato industry in Wulanchabu city is conducive to clarifying the current development status of potato industry in Wulanchabu city,analyzing the shortcomings faced in the development process,and putting forward feasible suggestions,which is of great significance to improve the competitiveness of potato industry in Wulanchabu city.This paper takes the potato industry competitiveness of Wulanchabu city as the research object,and makes a sample survey of 15 administrative villages in three Qi counties of Wulanchabu city to understand the potato production status,and then analyzes the industry status based on Porter's"Diamond Model",at the same time,builds the potato industry competitiveness evaluation index based on the previous studies of potato and other industries competitiveness Based on the statistical data and factor analysis,this paper evaluates the potato industry competitiveness of Wulanchabu city,in order to clarify the comprehensive competitiveness of Wulanchabu city in 12 major potato producing areas.After calculation,the potato industry competitiveness of Wulanchabu city ranks the second,with certain advantages.Then,combined with the current situation analysis and the scores of three public factors,we get At present,there are still some problems in the development of potato industry in Wulanchabu city,such as lack of high-quality seed potatoes,imperfect storage conditions,low processing conversion rate,lack of potato deep processing technology,no significant brand effect,and lagging information service in potato market.Finally,according to the research conclusion,some suggestions are put forward for the development of potato industry in Wulanchabu and the improvement of competitiveness.
