Research About Current Situation And Countermeasures Of Potato Industry In Yanbian

Potato is a kind of crop with vegetables,food,feed and industrial raw materials and other purposes.Because it has the advantages of wide adaptability,high yielding ability,high nutritional value and good economic benefit,at the same time it has the characteristics of drought resistance,cold resistance and barren resistance,there have been more than and 150 countries planting potato.In China,the potato because of its strong adaptability to the environment,the planting area expands unceasingly,at present it has became the fifth major crops which is behind wheat,rice,corn,soybean,it plays an irreplaceable role in Chinese food security,promoting the adjustment of agricultural structure,increasing farmers' income,reviving rural regional economy and meeting the market demand.In this paper,the purpose and significance of this study are firstly clarified,and the significance of developing potato industry in Yanbian is also discussed.The research contents and research methods are determined.After that,this paper makes a deep study on the relevant theories of agricultural industrialization,and makes clear the definition of the relevant concepts.In mastering a certain theoretical basis,with extensive reading,collecting and sorting out the related information which is about domestic and foreign potato industry development,generally analyzed the development of domestic and international potato industry,to provide the necessary reference for the development of potato industry in Yanbian.Based on the analysis of the data,this paper expounds the current situation of potato industry in Yanbian from three aspects:the potato planting situation in Yanbian,the production capacity of virus-free seed potato,and the development of industrialization.Based on the analysis of current situation of potato industry in Yanbian,with the SWOT analysis,firstly analyzes the advantages of developing potato industry in Yanbian,it s environmental advantage,the level of science and research team.Followed by an analysis of the development of potato industry in Yanbian,the disadvantages are:the modes of business operation is simple,the production cost is high,the processing technology content is low,the added value is low,the degree of industrial chain extension is low,the Importance degree of government isn't enough,the level of Land intensification is low,mechanized production capacity is weak;Virus-free Potato promotion is insufficient,the control of seed quality system is not effective.The opportunities for the development of potato industry in Yanbian:the potato becoming staple food has been a national development strategy,agricultural supply side structural reform advances potato industry structure adjustment.At the same time,potato industry in Yanbian is also facing the domestic and international market competition.According to the above analysis,this paper puts forward five suggestions to promote the development of potato industry in Yanbian:the first is to attract the leading enterprises,and develop the agricultural order;the second is to improve the virus-free potato breeding system construction,establish the seed industry standards and management system;the third is to increase investment in scientific research;the fourth is to establish cooperatives,integrate the land resources,develop intensive management;the fifth is to develop deep processing industry,pay more attention to the research on new potato product.
