A Study On The Development Of Rural Collective Economy In Dongying City

Rural collective economy is an important part of the rural economy, and is in the basicposition of national economy in China. The development of rural collective economy andenhancement of the power of collective economy is both an important task of deepening ruralreform, constructing rural overall well-off society and realizing common prosperity, and a majorpolitical issue of enhancing the ability of administration of the Party organizations in rural areasand consolidating the Party’s administration basis in the rural areas.Dongying City is a new resource city, and agriculture occupies an important position in thecity’s economic and social development. Dongying City is an important region for theimplementation of the two national strategies, i.e. the Yellow River Delta High-efficiencyEco-friendly Economic Zone and the Shandong Peninsula Blue Economic Zone With superiorlocation, prominent policy advantages, rich natural resources, the city boasts importantadvantages in the development of agriculture. In recent years, the Dongying Municipal PartyCommittee and Dongying Municipal Government attach great importance to the "three rural"work. The rural economic and social development was greatly enhanced, and significant progresshas been made in the development of rural collective economy. Especially, since2012, DongyingCity placed the development of rural collective economy work into the important content of theconstruction of basic level organization, giving full play to the leading role of the government,explored various practices, and achieved initial results. However, Dongying is also facing manyproblems in the work of rural collective economy. How to summarize the successful experiencegained, solve the existing problems, promote better and faster development of rural collectiveeconomy is an important and practical problem for Dongying.This paper first introduces the basic concept of rural collective economy, the basicdevelopment course of the rural collective economy in China and main theories regarding ruralcollective economy. On this basis, with the methods of quantitative analysis and qualitativeanalysis, this paper analyzes the general situation of the development of rural collective economyin Dongying City, summarizes the main methods of developing the system of rural collectiveeconomy in Dongying City, and objectively evaluates the significance of those methods forreference At the same time, it also gives a thorough analysis on the existing problems of the ruralcollective economic development in Dongying City and their causes. Finally, based on the realityof Dongying, this paper proposes countermeasures and suggestions for Dongying City topromote the development of rural collective economy.
