| February 26th,2014,President Xi Jinping made a proposal that Beijing,Tianjin and Hebei need to strive to achieve the same goal which allows the three area to develop as an integrated one. Since then,this concept has become one of the major strategic plans of China. Beijing-Tianjing-Hebei developing economy as a whole plays an imperial role in regional overall competitiveness and consists a necessary element in global economy localization.To achieve this goal,it takes industry integration. Industry integration doesn’t only avoid waste of resources generated by malicious competition,but also improves the regional economy quality.To integrate regional economy into globalization is the new trend of China’economy mode.The key how to realize the industrial integration of the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei is whether can form industrial complementarity and functional cooperation among the regions. Establishing industrial functional zone, distributing rationally regional industrial function, promoting effectively the industrial division, and optimizing the allocation of regional resources, which is the inevitable choice to realize the integration of Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region. To realize the integration Of industry, needs more infrastructure, public services, and ancillary policies related with social security policies.Basic public security is a solid backing for the development of industry integration, and industry integration can improve the level of regional economy as a whole, to achieve economic integration of the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region.The key of achieving Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei industry integration lies in the industrious complementary ability between the three areas. The inevitable step would be to assign appropriate functions to different zones and optimize resources distribution. The auxiliary tool to push this project would be policies regarding infrastructure, public service and social welfare, etc. Only have policies as the strong backbone to support it, can this project really take off.This essay starts with integration concept and focuses on the design of functional zones. There are five chapters. The first chapter addresses the meaning of this project based on its definition and origin, and points out the keys lies in industry integration. The second chapter is about relative theories on industry integration, divided into area economic theory and industrious economic theory and how such theory applies to the design of functional zones. The third chapter is the core content of this essay and discusses in detail of the big four functional zones.The fourth chapter lay emphasis on the planning phase ideas, how to balance interest fromdifferent participants and re-structure current industries.
