China is the world’s first national ceramic exporters. Chinese ceramic export volume is currently the largest in the world, in recent years the contribution of export of our country ceramics on export trade in our country is bigger and bigger. In China, ceramic production bases are gradually formed in many regions and Ceramic has become the first factor which is driving the local economy. Therefore the international factors of ceramic exports will have an impact on the local and even the entire national economy and social stability. The analysis of the factors affecting the volatility of ceramic export trade not only help to cope with the international market ceramic export business, but also provide a reasonable basis for the government to make macro-control policies.This paper makes a comprehensive analysis of Constant Market Share Model(CMS), and then uses the revised model of the CMS to research the competitive power of a ceramic product in China to the overall international.The research shows that the structure of the ceramic products is not excellent and the single market structure restricts the ability to export ceramic products to the world. The improving of the structure of export products is urgent. The international competitiveness of ceramic products is a decisive role for China’s exports, but the ascension of innovation and products’ export structure are still required. In ceramics international trade should pay attention to the leading role of the demand scale of China’s exports of ceramic products. In terms of the above conclusion,this article submits several suggestions about the trade of ceramic products:a. optimize of ceramic production structure, improve ceramic products. b. enhance the competitiveness of products, seize the overseas market. c. research the target market, implement the differences marketing.
