This article describes the development status of China-Kazakhstan bilateral trade and economic relations, analyzes the reasons for the rapid development of ChinaKazakhstan bilateral trade and economic relations as well as major problems, and puts forward countermeasures about how to promote bilateral economic and trade development in Kazakhstan. Over the past two decades, Kazakhstan and China established mutual trust and effective cooperation in all fields. Both countries established high complementary industrial structure, bilateral trade as well as border trade have grown rapidly. Political and economic relations between Kazakhstan and China are strongest in comparison with other Central Asian countries. At the same time, imbalances of the bilateral trade structure and poor infrastructure have become a major obstacle to the development of bilateral economic and trade relations. Finally, in order to promote the further development of bilateral economic and trade relations, the author puts forward the need to strengthen infrastructure construction, especially the construction, transportation and logistics services related to infrastructure, which would help to reduce the cost of trade. Meanwhile Kazakhstan and China both should improve the product mix to promote bilateral trade balance. In addition, stand in the perspective of long-term cooperation to consider the Kazakhstan and China, it need to further deepen and broaden the depth and breadth of bilateral cooperation, such as further reducing restrictions and expand the scale of cooperation the two sides in the border areas of industrial production, using of China "One Belt and One Road" development opportunities strategies, being active to expand trade and economic cooperation together with other Central Asian countries.
