The Statistical Analysis Of The Impact Of City Innovation Ability On The Economic Efficiency

Under the accelerated urbanization and adjustment of the economic structure situation, for urban which is the carrier of the unit economy, improving its economic efficiency is an important factor to maintain its sustainable development. In the factors which affect the economic efficiency, innovation plays an important role. City innovation developed on the basis of the national innovation and regional innovation combines innovation with cities. So in this background, it is meaningful to study the influence of the city innovation ability on the economic efficiency and to explore respectively the influence degree of the parts of city innovation ability on the economic efficiency.In this paper, the five subsystems of city innovation ability, namely knowledge innovation ability, technology innovation ability, government support and service capabilities, and innovation circumstance, and economic efficiency of the thirteen deputy provincial cities in 2013 are calculated based on construction of city innovation ability and the economic efficiency index by using the factor analysis. And calculate the index of the remaining seven years by the weight of index in 2013. On this basis, with the empirical analysis on the influence of city innovation ability to economic efficiency by fixed effect model, explore the influence degree of each subsystem of city innovation ability on the economic efficiency and in-depth analysis factors of the influence of innovation on the economic efficiency, and then provide the scientific basis for urban development strategy.As the empirical analysis shows, knowledge innovation ability, technology innovation ability, government support and service capabilities, and innovation circumstance promote the economic efficiency, and the effect of technology innovation ability is bigger, the second is knowledge innovation ability, then is government support and service capabilities, the last is the innovation circumstance. The stronger the city technology innovation ability is, the faster the economic growth. The government support and services help to promote the improvement of economic efficiency of the city; the promotion of knowledge innovation ability and the innovation environment on economic efficiency is not very strong, but also can not be ignored. According to the conclusions, four suggestions are given:First, the coordinated development, enhance the cooperation ability of city; Second, strengthening the transformation of the scientific and technological innovation ability can promote economic efficiency; Third, constantly perfect the functions of the government, and improve the service ability of government; Fourth, Attention to the cultivation of talents, strengthen the knowledge innovation. Anyhow, to promote the economic efficiency of the city, we must realize the innovation on technology, optimization of function and improvement of service on government, and all aspects of city coordinated development based on people-oriented.
