Comparative Study Of Developed Countries’ Pension System

Because of the global population problem, how to develop a perfect pension system has become a concern problem in many countries of the world. From 1990s, China tried to set up a pension system, the reform of the pension system in our country must be more adapt to the development of our social and economy. Because our country is "getting old before getting prosperous", the reform of our country’s pension is very difficult, it needs to deal with the common problem of developed countries, at the same time, it also to deal with problems that left over by system reform in China. Therefore, we should reform our pension system based our country’s national conditions, it should be fully considered, we also should consider the pension system reform experience of developed countries. In a word, put forward some effective suggestions is an important and significance research.Introduced the relevant theories of pension system in this paper, the pension system of developed countries, the development status quo of China’s pension system. At present, the reform of pension system in our country is still have some faults, there are still many shortcomings, our country should take lessons from developed countries, to develop a pension system which accords with the situation of China. In this paper, the analysis of the pension system of developed countries, summarizes the experiences of the reform of pension system, and studies the problems that exist in the pension system in China, puts forward some effective suggestions of pension reform.In this paper, the innovative pension systems in developed countries are divided into two types. Pension systems in the five countries to conduct a comprehensive, system, difference of comparative analysis, the United States, Germany, Britain, Singapore and Chile are the countries to be targeted. Finally, based on the pension system in our country, development present situation and existing problems, think of the reform experience of developed countries, put forward the innovative reform proposals of pension system.
