The financial industry is the core of the social economy, and the bank is the most important part of the financial industry, is the basis of the financial industry, once the banking system will have a huge impact on the entire social economy will have a Domino effect, the whole society will have a significant impact. Since the reform and opening up, China’s economy has made remarkable achievements, the contribution of small and medium enterprises, but the problem of financing difficulties of small and medium enterprises has become increasingly prominent. For commercial banks, small and medium enterprises because of the inherent defects, credit risk management is difficult, to improve the commercial banks to support small and medium enterprises, it is necessary to solve the problem of SME credit business risk management.This paper first outlines the domestic and foreign commercial banks credit risk management of SMEs in the current situation, based on the classical theory, combined with the characteristics of China’s SME credit risk, the N bank Suzhou branch as an example, through the author personally involved in the case of B company’s rapid lending, research and development of SME credit risk management issues. Through the analysis of the current situation of N bank Suzhou branch credit risk management, to find out the existing problems, learn from the successful practice of western developed countries, from the optimization of small and medium enterprise credit management organization structure, improve the SME credit business process and improve the human resource management system to propose specific measures to improve the risk management level of N bank Suzhou branch.
