The Study On Science Population Activities’ Effect Evaluation In Science Museum

Nowadays, Museum of Science and Technology business is in a period of vigorous development in China. Science and Technology Museum is not only to stimulate public interest in science through exhibitions, but also to disseminate scientific knowledge through science education activities and inspire the spirit of innovation. The effect of science activities impact on promoting civic scientific literacy directly, so it is very important to establish a scientific evaluation system on effects of science activities. There are the evaluation systems of Jon D. Milller and Zheng Nian, but there are still some shortcomings in audience behavior assessment methods. In this paper, we have studied an evaluation system which called DPI on effects of science activities, assessment indicators include design and production, scientific processes and the impact of science. In the case of the activities we apply evaluation system, evaluate the effect of activity, and verify the reasonableness of the DPI evaluation system.
