The research on distributed energy metering system has positive influence for intelligent grid. It can measure and manage power consumption data easily and cost-effectively for the users and provided technical support for automation and information of the power consumption. In this article, the distributed energy metering system has been designed based on WIA technology and face the industrial users. On the basis of system requirements analysis, this paper carried out the hardware design and routing policy design of distributed energy metering system.Firstly, the design of the hardware has been carried out. The hardware platform has been built in four aspects:overall architecture design, the overall metering module design, distributed metering module design and WIA gateway module design. The design of the overall metering module chose the chip STM32F103 as the core control chip. We also design the peripheral circuits mainly about WIA communication circuit, power supply circuit, display circuit and storage circuit. In which the chip Si4432 has been chosen as a wireless transceiver chip of WIA communication circuit. The distributed metering module take STC89C52 SCM as the core, chose ATT7022B as the metering chip, mainly designed the metering circuit, WIA communication circuit, power supply circuit and storage circuit. WIA gateway module mainly take the S3C6410 embedded microprocessor as the core, to achieve a WIA-3G network conversion.Secondly, we designed the routing strategy for the system. Firstly, the design principles and method has been described. Then, we analysis the routing strategy of mesh network in two kinds:table-driven strategy and demand strategy. At last, we designed the strategy base on mesh network strategy and consider the needs from the system. The strategy is mainly designed in a two level structure, which is based on CGSR and DSDV. In the paper, we designed the routing finding, routing choosing and routing maintaining in detail.
