Hardware in the loop Simulation(HILS) can effectively reduce the development time of the weapon system. It can cut down the cost of weapon development at the same time. In this paper, some kind of guidance weapon HILS was designed and researched to find out the key technical means and some universal equipment.In this paper, DMD is selected as the key display panel to design a set of visual optical target simulator. The simulator takes LEDs as illumination source to illuminate the DMD so that the picture could be sent as parallel light by the projection optical system.In this paper, a set of frame synchronous circuit is designed to match the seeker simulator which is also designed to be used together with the target simulator for acquiring each frame of the target simulator simultaneously.The Visual image simulation computer offers the image of some kind of flyer flying in the air, and the algorithm of target detect and track according to the feature of the image to ensure the seeker simulator could achieve the detect and track about the object. Finally, it is identified that the seeker simulator could detect and track the object effectively after comparing the experiment data with the model data.For a real-time demand of the simulation system. A communication protocol is designed based on the UDP/IP. A network of the involved equipment is organized to test the function of the network.
