Urban green space is a very important part of urban ecosystem. It has an active meaning for improving urban ecology environment and promoting urban nature, economy, society harmonious development. Previously more researches were that study on urban green space of Guangzhou in Gunagdong province, but the study on Conghua city is less. This study focus on the following three aspects:the landscape pattern of green space, plant community structures, and the ecological effect that different community structures impact the microclimatic factors. The results as follows:1. The landscape pattern of green space.(1)There are235green space patches in Conghua city. The total green space patch area is848.97hm2and average green space patch area is3.61±5.79hm2. It classify as park green space, green buffer, attached green space, farmland, orchard and other green space.(2)The landscape diversity index value is0.9896, landscape dominance index value is0.6198, and landscape evenness index value is0.3149. The landscape diversity index value and landscape evenness index value are lower, green spaces landscape pattern are not richness and evenness in Conghua city.2. The structure of plant communities.(1)This study total found64families129genus165species, and native plants71species in Conghua city. The major dominant species are tropical and subtropical plant species, such as Ficus concinna, Ficus benjamina, Alstonia scholaris, Mangifera indica, Bauhinia blakeana and Ficus altissima.(2)The general tendency of species diversity indexes are tree layer> shrub layer> herb layer between different community layers.(3) There are obvious difference community structures between the Conghua city, the Liuxihe forest park and the Fengyunling forest park. But between city community structures and the Pearl industrial park community structures, and each community structures in the city are not obvious difference. 3. The ecological effect that different community structures impact the microclimatic factors.(1)The maximum air temperature effect values are dropping scale-1.44%to-8.88%, the maximum relative hunmidity effect values are rising scale0.16%to11.62%, and the maximum wind speed effect values are reducing scale-3.05%to-43.71%in different measuring points. The general tendency of effect values are:tree shade≥forest clearance> forest margin>bare land01(2)The effect values of air temperature, relative humidity and wind speed are significant or very significant positive correlation between any two effect values. The total average diameter are significant positive correlation with the air temperature effect values, and very significant positive correlation with the relative humidity effect values.
