The by-products of sugarcane industry, sugarcane leaves and molasses are biomass resources which can be re-utilized. Comprehensive utilization of sugarcane wastes will further increase the profit of sugarcane industry, and have a very positive meaning for economic development of Guangxi, while reducing environmental pollution. Sugarcane leaves silage, producing high-protein feed by mixed solid fermentation, chemical analysis of silage and fermentation feed, feeding experiments were studied in this paper. Research results are as follows:A slight increase on the fat and crude protein content was observed in silage feed, from1.5%and5.74%up to3.40%and12.60%respectively, water soluble carbohydrates and neutral detergent fiber content reduce to0.24%and37.60%, but lignin content remained unchanged almost. Low nutrients, high cellulose and lignin content, poor palatability were presented as fodder.Phanerochaete chrysosporium and Trichoderma viride were chosen as degrading strains, and Candida utilis was used as protein-production strain.Base on crude protein content, protein feed was produced by mixed fermentation to find optimum technological conditions after co-culturing strains above for a period of time. The proportion of medium and culture conditions were optimized through monofactorial researches and orthogonal experiments. The results of experiments presented the optimum medium recipe:the Brix of molasses was28°Bx, pH6.5, solid-liquid ratio1:5, optimal culture conditions were:fermentation time5days, temperature26℃, total inoculum size was0.50mL/g, the proportion of inoculation was1:1:1. In optimized conditions, the content of crude protein was23.41%, increasing by8.6%than original conditions. ANOVA showed the solid-liquid ratio had significant influence on crude protein content. Subsequently Lactobacillus plantarum was added to fermentation system, the experiment results showed the optimized inoculation amount was0.25mL/g, and the product significantly improved with the flavor of lactic acid, the protein content increased to23.99%.Added8%corn flour, crude protein, crude fat and crude ash content of the granulated feed increased to23.90%、3.26%and8.26%respectively, and water soluble carbohydrates, neutral detergent fiber and acid detergent fiber content respectively decreased to0.13%、28.30%and1.36%.
