Cotton is our country especially Xinjiang important economic crops, in themechanization of cotton production process mechanization harvest cotton has becomean inevitable trend.Hand picking don’t only high labor intensity, low efficiency, andhigh cost. Therefore, it is necessary to design a machine can replace manual pickingcotton, to reduce the heavy manual labor, improve work efficiency, adapt to therequirements of social development of agricultural mechanization. Xinjiang areabegan to introduce foreign large-scale self-propelled cotton picker, some domesticmanufacturers also began to introduce foreign advanced technology and independentresearch and development of color cotton machine. At present, the domestic marketmainstream products are mainly collected cotton American Deere Company, KeyesCo and Guihang Group production of horizontal spindle type cotton picker. Domesticcotton picker is the performance can meet the requirements, but with the Americathere is still a certain gap, the key parts especially cotton picker spindle is stilldependent on imports, fully realize the localization is still a long way to go. Thecotton picker is gradually applied in the actual production, mechanization of cottonharvesting and greatly reduces the cost of cotton, reducing the labor intensity,improve the enthusiasm of face.Picking head is the core component of cotton picker picking head, at present inXinjiang area of cotton picker for horizontal spindle rolling, the domestic productionof the cotton picking head parts are from abroad to buy, no domestic independentproduction enterprises. So, on the material analysis and optimization of theself-propelled cotton picker level ingots study a cotton picker localization is verynecessary, has the important meaning.In this paper, according to key parts of the self-propelled cotton pickerespecially the level of abstract principle of ingot and the material analysis.
