Forest resources survey is one of the important work of forest resources management, the use of advanced information technology for forest resource data collection can improve the efficiency of field survey work, information technology forestry investigation. This paper studies the use of forest resources, Android Tablet PC data acquisition, the development of a system based on Android forest resources to meet the needs of the collection work outside the software industry. Systematic study comparing the use of analytical methods, technology validation, to achieve the progressive realization of systems research and development work of the system.This paper discusses the use of the Android operating system that supports the use of GPS-enabled mobile devices PhoneGap platform construction techniques and methods of forest resources outside the industry survey system. Gives the system architecture design field survey of forest resources, systems process design, system database structure design, and describes the specific methods to achieve key technical systems. OpenLayers achieved using open source GIS and GPS coordinates to obtain export display, subcompartment elements of editing, merging and splitting subcompartment elements, importing attribute data and spatial data format conversion data and other core functionality. Design and development of systems to achieve a subcompartment editing, subcompartment correction, combined with the subcompartment division, like editing, data acquisition functions, completed the development of Android-based forest resources outside the industry acquisition system. This article was first constructed a system of forest resources outside the industry gathering in the Android tablet mobile devices using PhoneGap platform to build open-source Android system WebGIS OpenLayers, and in the acquisition system can be used offline maps. System can meet the business needs of forest resources field survey work, while providing valuable reference for other related research.
