The Caragana korshinskii is an excellent shrub in sand prevention and sand-fixation, and its branch can be used an renewable feed and fuel,which plays an important role in the ecological and economic value. According to the Caragana korshinskii nature, it need to be cut every3to5years to rejuvenation and management. In general, the rejuvenation is used year by year. But the level of the Caragana korshinskii mechanized technology is very low, lack of equipment,and there is no special machine to harvester the Caragana korshinskii, which has seriously hampered the development of the Caragana korshinskii emerging industry. In this paper, combined with the predecessors research,we design and research the pickup and cutting machine of Caragana korshinskii. The content include:(1) The test material is from the base of the10-years-old and moisture content of9.3%Caragana korshinskii. The results contain the Caragana korshinskii density, compressive strength、bending strength、 shear strength, tensile strength and hardness, the value is partly0.556g/cm3、71.5Mpa、126.37Mpa,12.62Mpa、98.92Mpa、3445.96N.(2) Study the impact of the cutting angle and cutting speed on unit cutting force and maximum cutting force under the three cutting patterns of crosscut, miter and cutting. At the same situation, the unit cutting force is the most minimum in the cutting pattern, cutting speed and cutting angle on the effect of shear strength and maximum cutting force showed a significant level under cutting mode, the optimal cutting angle is45in the test scope.(3) We analyzed the movement process of pick-up teeth in the condition that the speed of the Pick-up teeth is110r/min, the radius of the Pick-up teeth roller is150mm, and the effective length of the Pick-up teeth is204mm.It showed that when the angle of the pick-up teeth is0°~63°,it refers to the pickup process, when it comes to63°~243°it refers to toss process and when it is243°~360°,it refers to Material handling process. All these can meet the need of pick-up teeth work requirements.(4) To do the simulated analysis of speed and accelerated speed of pick-up teeth with Matlab. Under the circumstance that the pick-up teeth has a uniform rotation, the angle of the tip of elastic claw is18rad/s, angular acceleration began to fluctuate and then end up with zero. (5) To analyze the blades of sickle with finite element analysis, the Length, width, thickness, edge Angle of the blade,the diameter of the bolt hole, the distance between both ends of the blades to Bolt hole center and so on, all these have influence on stress and strain of the blade. This paper mainly focused on analyzing two parameters of the number of bolt holes and the distance between both ends of the blades to Bolt hole center. It turned out that the using of three hole bolts can meet the requirements, this kind of bolts under the stress value of29Gpa and the maximum deflection is0.138mm.
