In this paper, Astragalus mongholicus for the study, seed testing and field experimentswere used to study the impact of Fe, Zn, Mn, Cu on the seed germination, seedling growthconditions and some physiological; the dynamic change of N, P, K content, the absorption andutilization and dry matter accumulation; as well as the effects of Fe, Zn on the growth andeffective ingredients of Astragalus mongholicus.1.This test investigated effects of Fe, Zn, Mn, Cu on seed germination and seedling inlaboratory. The result showed that suitable concentration of micronutrients treatments cansignificantly improve seed vigor, promote seed germination and seedling growth, increase theresistance of seedling.400mg/L FeSO4,100mg/L ZnSO4,125mg/L MnSO4and50mg/LCuSO4treatments gained the best germination rate, germination potential, germination indexand vigor index. Suitable concentration of micronutrients treatments could significantlyimprove root length compared with the control, but has little effect on root diameter.200mg/LFeSO4,50mg/L ZnSO4,250mg/L MnSO4and200mg/L CuSO4treatments gained the highestchlorophyll contents;800mg/L FeSO4,50mg/L ZnSO4,500mg/L MnSO4and200mg/L CuSO4treatments showed the lowest root relative conductivety and the best root activity;400mg/LFeSO4,100mg/L ZnSO4,125mg/L MnSO4and25mg/L CuSO4treatments showed the highestSOD activity and POD activity of seedling.2.A field experiment was to study the uptake and distribution law of N, P, K and therelationships between the dry matter accumulation and accumulation of N, P, K. The resultshowed that in60to140days after emergence, dry matter accumulation and the uptakeaccumulation of N, P, K were increasing. After140days, dry matter accumulation and N, P, Kaccumulation of shoot reduced because climate resulting in shoot wither and nutrients were ina top-down distribution. But the dry matter accumulation and N, P, K accumulation of rootwere increasing due to enter to enlargement and nutrients transfer to the root, the maximum180days after emergence.Significant positive correlation with N, P, K accumulation and drymatter accumulation was obtained by fitting the equation.Within a certain range, any kind ofN, P, K are conductive to dry matter accumulation of Astragalus mongholicus and help improve medicine production.3.A field experiment was to study the effects of Fe, Zn spraying on the growth and activeingredients of Astragalus mongholicus. The result showed that spraying suitable concentrationof Fe, Zn could promote the growth of Astragalus, and made plant height, root length, rootdiameter and dry matter improve significantly compared with the control. Further studiesshowed that certain concentration of Fe spraying significantly increased the content of totalsaponins, total flavonoids and polysaccharides. Suitable concentration of Zn spraying madethe content of total saponins and polysaccharides increase significantly, while Zn inhibited theaccumulation of total flavonoids. Among them,0.4%FeSO4and0.3%ZnSO4treatmentgained the highest content of total saponin and increased by82.21%and41.10%comparedwith the control;0.2%FeSO4treatment gained the highest total flavonoid content andincreased by43.69%compared with the control. But the total flavonoid content of rootshowed a downward trend with elevated concentrations of ZnSO4.0.2%FeSO4and0.3%ZnSO4gained the highest polysaccharide content and increased by130.17%and169.27%.
