The use of sprinklers irrigation for crops and the selection of the sprinklers is one of the fundamental way to ensure timely and adequate irrigation to reduce water waste, sustainable agriculture, rational management of water resources. Sprinklers apply to a high degree of mechanization of agriculture development of large-scale water-saving irrigation. Sprinkler is one of the major water-saving irrigation equipment favored at home and abroad with a high degree of automation, control area, adaptability. However, many manufacturers of production sprinklers domestic and foreign, sprinkler irrigation machine types and models vary. The scope of each of the sprinklers and the advantages and disadvantages are not the same. So the sprinklers make a lot of sense for selection for the economical use of water conservation and irrigation machine costs. This paper build a evaluation method on irrigation system selection with the application of fuzzy evaluation and the analytical hierarchy process, this paper will present an effective irrigation system selection technique, in order to provide systematical and scientific gist for local government department and farmers.This paper implements the following content:(1) Established the effect evaluation index system of irrigation technology. Analyzing the factors influence the evaluation of water-saving irrigation technology, which is summed up to 6 categories, divided into 30 subclass indexes. Definition and process indicators, which gives the formula for calculating quantitative indicators, qualitative indicators give qualitative approach.(2) Established the mathematical model of irrigation system selection evaluation, deal with various indicators and calculation weights, used single-factor method and multivariate methods to solve the model.(3) Case in Yangling, use the established model to choose the best sprinklers from four scenarios, center pivot irrigation machine, pan sprinkler, rollaway sprinkler, center pivots. The result is pan sprinkler. Through examples demonstrate the rationality of the model.(4) In this paper, under the Visual Studio 2010 platform, using C ++ programming language to develop a "sprinkler system selection evaluation software." The software is mainly done function indicators input and selection, calculation process and the weight of index data.
