We could reduce the labor intensity of breeding workers by using the information technology into the process of breeding. What’s more, in this way we would have a significant effect on the area of how to improve the efficiency of breeding. In today’s world, we use mobile NFC technology to get the information collection, but it is inconvenient because the breeding workers have to bend to a close range so that they could collect the information we needed from the electronic tag on the ground. With the smart phones popularize today, it is imperative to use smart phones as the carrier into the area of remote reading electronic tags information in the field. The subject designs a portable UHF-RFID device in order to achieve our goal, the basic principle is mainly about use the mobile phone via Bluetooth to control reader to operate the tag, and get the tag information back to the phone.In this paper, we set the demand of crop breeding period information collection as the beginning, we mainly do the following researches based on our project research:selection of hardware modules, the PCB board system of electrical connections on each module, Android mobile phone control system software development, dual-feed ceramic antenna by using HFSS, simulation analysis on the results of tag antenna and test any possible situation that could be occur in the process of project running. Put forward a reasonable solution about read angle and Tags placed spacing.More specifically, the paper firstly introduces the background and significance of the research, research status, the source of this paper’s thesis and the author’s main work. It explains the foundation of the project research, including the prime components and working principle of RFID system, the technical support of Android platform. After that, we do research on the area of device hardware scheme, based on the RFID system operating principle and the design of radio-frequency circuit. The paper briefly analyses on the peripheral circuit of radio-frequency module, the design of hardware circuit board of the device, the Android mobile phone control software. In addition, we keep testing the ultra-high frequency tag on the market, so that we could find out the proper electronic tag. In order to avoid the device into the Dead zone can’t read the tags and misreading of adjacent tag. Then analyze the simulation results of the dual-feed ceramic antenna and electronic tag antenna, Put forward a reasonable solution about read angle and Tags placed spacing. At last test any possible situations could be appear in using.The paper achieves the goal that breeding collectors could read electronic tags in the long-distance range without bending by using mobile phone, with the help of operating mobile phone software. Workers could read and write the tag conveniently. Through the field test, the results of this project had the expected effect.
