Zheng Dan 958 and Xian Yu 335 were planted with densities of 60000plant/ha at NEAU station, Harbin, in 2010-2014, to research the relationship between inter annual climate changes and maize growth and grain yield, finally identify the main meteorological factors and the key stage. The study results are listed as follows.1. In the Harbin region, the inter annual fluctuation of meteorological factors was obviously, and the fluctuation of rainfall was the most while the accumulated temperature was the small.2.At seeding emergence to jointing stage, the accumulate temperature is positively related to LAI, the sunshine hours is significantly positively related to LAI. While the more accumulated temperature and rainfall were helpful the growth of plant height, and the effect of sunshine hours was just contrastly. At the jointing to silking stage, influences of the rainfall on LAI is significantly, sunshine is the secondary factor and the accumulate temperature influence is little. While the rainfall was. positively related to plant height, and the accumulate temperature was significantly positively related to plant height.3.More accumulate temperature in the key 30 d include silking was helpful to increase the number of kernel per ear in Zheng Dan 958, while no effects on Xian Yu 335. while more rainfall has disadvantage to the number of kernel per ear.. More accumulate temperature in 15 to 40 after silking will increases the 100 grain weight, while more rainfall is adverse to it.4.Under normal Climate fluctuation of Harbin, as to Zheng Dan 958, grain yield increases with the increase of rainfall in growth period, so the rainfall is the key meteorological factor, ant the impact occurred mainly at the jointing to siking stage and milky to full ripe stage. accumulate temperature in growth period can meet the need of maize growth, accumulate temperature is not the main factor. While more accumulate temperature is adverse to the grain yield.. Sunshine shows negative effect both in whole growth period or each stage.
