| The study was performed to solve the problem of the avian immune stress caused by vaccination, and it lead to the reducing of growth and produce performance, at the same time, investigate the mechanism of immune stress vaccine. “Nourishing Qi”, “Clearing heat and dampness” and “antipyretic and antidote” were used to relieve vaccine immune stress.In this test 400 “Hai-Lan” male chicks were chosen and randomly divided into five groups including of blank group, control group, astragalus group, sophora flavescens group, wild chrysanthemum group. Control group and Chinese herbal medicine groups aged of 32 d were vaccinated NDⅠdosed 10 times amount, meanwhile blank group injected with the same amount of saline. Chinese medicine group aged of 30 d took Chinese herbal decoction sooner or later and continuous a week. The everyday dose of astragalus group and wild chrysanthemum group were 1g crude drug every cock, while sophora flavescens group made a half dose. Chickens were fed and managed by standard. Each group eight chicks were bled to obtain serum after immunization 1, 3, 5, 7, 14, 21 d, meanwhile took immune organs and hypothalamus and weigh. Intake of chicks was recorded daily. Chicken weight was weighed at 1, 7, 14, 21 d.The results showed that:1 The daily gain and feed conversion ratio of vaccinated group were suppressed after immunization two weeks. The difference of body weight was significantly manifested after a week. Chinese herbal medicine had a tendency to improve the daily gain, and astragalus group role better than the other two groups.2 The development of spleen was significantly inhibited after immunization 3-14 d. Astragalus and wild chrysanthemum could stimulate the development of the spleen. However the development of thymus showed no trend.3 The antibody level of immunization group was significantly higher than blank group after the seventh day. The antibody level of control group and sophora flavescens group begun to decline after the twenty-first day, however astragalus group and wild chrysanthemum group remained at a high level.4 The GLU, TP, TG content of control was significantly higher than the blank group and Chinese herbal medicine group, and three kinds of traditional Chinese medicine had a significant relief role. Immune stress had a longer impact to ALB. Control group had a significantly lower at 3-7d, and astragalus group had a good mitigation. CHO showed no regular influence.5 Immune stress caused a significant effect of lipid peroxidation at 3-5d, and three kinds of traditional Chinese medicine had no obvious effect.6 Immunological stress caused a sharp increase of IL-1, and three kinds Chinese herbal medicine had a relive role.7 Immune stress activated the axis of HPA. The content of plasma ACTH and CORT had a significant improve, and astragalus had good effect to inhibit the trend, while wild chrysanthemum only alleviated the elevated of ACTH. The hypothalamic CRH m RNA of control group was significantly increased, and astragalus and wild chrysanthemum had a good role to relieve the trend.8 Immunization caused a significant increase of hypothalamic TRH m RNA, and three kinds of traditional Chinese medicine groups had a good role in mitigation, and astragalus and wild chrysanthemum was better than sophora flavescens.In conclusion: Chickens inoculated with large doses of NDⅠcause vaccine immune stress, its mechanism is immunological stress activate the axis HPA caused a large release of GC influenced the growth performance, nutrient metabolism and immune function of chicks. Astragalus and wild chrysanthemum have a good role to alleviate unhealthy effect. |
