In the wake of developments in people living standard , the output of milk production has become more and more needs in market. The factor of affecting the output of milk production is very complicated, such as many infectious bacteria and viral diseases, obstetrics disease and Summer heat stress. But in southern area, heat stress in Summer is an important reason to dairy cows.Nowadays almost of these diseases is treated by chemical drugs. However, the result of which is worse curative, narrow limits and more expensive . Moreover ,chemical drugs not only cause drug-resistant to the virus which can hardly be controlled but also damage the environment and do harm to people's health. According to these serious situation, more and more people are looking forward to returning nature and to get green foods. Veterinary and medicine workers have being attempted to find high-efficient antiviral Chinese medicinal herb regulators to prevent and cure these repeatedly normal diseases in order to raise the output of milk production.Just as we know ,China is the hometown of Chinese medicinal herbs. A wealth of experiences has accumulated in curing diseases by traditional Chinese medicine . The specialty of this subject is that the Chinese medicinal herbs have many advantages , for instance, high-efficient, little poisonous and no remains; that is to say, chances are little for it to do harm to mankind and suitable for nowadays consumers.Heat stress in Summer is serious to dairy cows, which causes un- favourable effects such as decreasing milk yield and reproduction, increasing the incidence of disease etc. Feed additive of Chinese traditional herbal medicine was thought as an excellent feed additive, which can benefit the spleen and supplement Qi, promote digestion, and gain weight. In this study, traditional Chinese medical science principle was used to diagnose and analyse the physiology of cow, Chinese traditional herbal medicine was selected and used in feed additive. In this study , traditional Chinese medical science principle was used to diagnose and analyse the heat stress, Chinese herbal medicine additives were selected and used for diary cows. 20 cows (10 cows per group) were used to determine the effects dietary additives of Chinese Herbal Medicines on milk yield and composition. We found that Chinese Herbal Medicines produced more milk than the control group in a remarkable level (P < 0.05 ). The research showed that Chinese Herbal additives not only didn't affect the composition of milk., but also raised the nutritious value of milk. The inhibitory effect of the herbal medicine was proved by the test of the quality index of blood in dairy cows . The result indicated that the traditional Chinese herbal medical feed-additive used as thermoresistant stress alleviation for dairy cow in summer not only increase the milk production, but also enhanced the blood cortisol indices in diary cow.In order to verify the principle of herbal medicine additive in thermoresistant stress alleviation, an albino rat thernoresistant stress model was set up by the high-temperature-method in the test. It is discovered that feeding the traditional Chinese herbal medicine raised the survival rate of albino rat and affected the secretion of its enzyme of serum. Accordingly it is proved that the traditional Chinese herbal medicine for dairy cow thermoresistant stress alleviation in summer performed its role by tonifying the Qi and strengthening the superficial function. The mechanism of the principle of Chinese herbal medicine and traditional Chinese medical science was also discussed in this paper.
