With the development of agricultural economy, Kezuozhongqi gradually became the production of corn based agricultural banner, while maize production is highly dependent on irrigation, and this dependence is not only in today but also in the future. Because of this, the development of agricultural economy can’t be separated from demand of the water resources and the demand is increasing continually. The shortage of water resources in the Kezuozhongqi affected the development of agricultural economy and it’s in increasing demand for water resources situation. These lead to the development in the future of Kezuozhongqi agricultural depending on the irrigation for a long period of time. Irrigation’ development needs to improve the efficiency of irrigation as the premise, then carrying on the comprehensive improvement of water--saving irrigation.Based on reading the literature, we put forward the research ideas. In this paper, the irrigation efficiency means that with the influence of fertilizers, pesticides, labor and other factors to the yield of seeds basically unchanged, we compared the three major irrigation measures in Kezuozhongqi, from irrigation costs and irrigation frequency to determine which measure is the most suitable for irrigation.Firstly the main water resources in Kezuozhongqi are described, including the main rivers, ground water, rainfall etc.. Secondly, main crops in Kezuozhongqi are analyzed to show that the crops need water. Then the irrigation methods of Kezuozhongqi are also analyzed with study of various irrigation investments. Finally, via the empirical analysis we found that:firstly, for Kezuozhongqi agricultural irrigation, irrigation can increase the yield per 0.067 hectares; secondly, comparing to the sprinkler irrigation, efficiency of the wild irrigation is low and can’t be significantly improved about the efficiency; thirdly, sprinkler irrigation comparing to drip irrigation is relatively lower, drip irrigation can increase production efficiently, drip irrigation and sprinkler irrigation can both effectively improve the yield with high irrigation efficiency; fourthly, the model results show that the fertilizer and seeds are helpful obviously, but irrigation frequency is not. So the yield is not related to the irrigation frequency but relevant to the crops’ meet of water resources. In conclusion, drip irrigation is the most efficient method to improve the agriculture irrigation efficiency.
