Chinese chive(Allium tuberosum Rottl ex spr.)is a kind of liliaceae allium perennial green vegetable which, at the same time, is of medicinal property, namely, it is beneficial to human’s health. Just because wild Chinese chive has higher nutritional quality and people advocate natural consumption concept, the demand for wild Chinese chive is increasing and supply falls to meet the demand. But it is rather difficult to exploit and utilize wild Chinese chives due to the demands of its growing surroundings and the lack of research of its biological characteristics. This research focuses on the nutritional quality difference between wild Chinese chives and normal Chinese chives(wild Chinese chives are Shengtang Hill wild Chinese chives (collected from Shengtang Hill Jinxiu county in Guangxi) and Daming Mountain wild Chinese chives (collected from Daming Mountain Wuming county in Guangxi)), it pays attention to effects of light and nutrient concentration on wild Chinese chives and explores further the reasons of infertility of these two wild Chinese chives. And comprehensively evaluates their nutritional quality and adaptabilities by employing subordinate function values in fussy mathematics.then it provides some theories and technical support for the development and utilization of these two kinds of wild Chinese chives. The main experiment results are as follows:First, it is proved that these two kinds of wild Chinese chives posses much higher nutritional quality compared to "JiuBao F1", "wild JiuBao F1" and "Guangxi’s seed "(Chinese chives from Guangxi native farmer). And their nutritional quality from high to low is:Darning Mountain wild Chinese chives> Shengtang Hill wild Chinese chives> "JiuBao F1"> "Guangxi’s seed">"Wild JiuBao F1", by comprehensive evaluation with the former mentioned methods.Second, It is proved that when the shading rate is 70%-80%(average light intensity 40klx) in midsummer’s days these wild Chinese chives have a better photosynthesis and output and higher nutritional quality.it is proved when in full light in summar, because light is too intensive, photosynthesis is inhibited which leads to affect the growth of wild Chinese chives, thus their nutritional quality and output decrease; when the shading rate is more than 90%, due to light inadequate leading to slow photosynthesis and growth rate, which results in lower nutritional quality. Thus, it should adjust the light intensity in the actual production of wild Chinese chives. When lights are too weak, photosynthesis rate slows down; while lights are too much, growth is inhibited and the nutritional quality is affected. The appropriate light intensity can insure high-yielded and good-quality wild Chinese chives, especially in midsummer’s days, where there is direct and intensive sunlights.Third, when in the hydroponics of Japanese garden universal formula nutrition liquid of 1/2 or 1 concentration, the adaptability of these two wild Chinese chives is higher than that of cultivated in soil; The adaptability of Darning Mountain wild Chinese chive is best when it is in 1 concentration, it is better in 1/2 concentration, both of the adaptabilities are higher than that in soil. The adaptability of Shengtang Hill wild Chinese chives in 1 concentration and in 1/2 concentration are quite similar, but both are higher that of in soil. It is proved that these two kinds of wild Chinese chive have good hydroponic adaptability, therefore, it can reduce the occurrence of Chinese chive maggot and the use of pesticides to improve the safety and quality of wild Chinese chives.Lastly, the reason of the infertility of these wild Chinese chives temporarily presumes the low viability of pollens. The pollens germination rate of Shengtang Hill wild Chinese chives is only 2.74%, while that of Damingshan wild Chinese chives is zero.
