Picking device is a core part of the chili harvesting machine, device performance directly affects thepicking results. In this paper, excessive weight4LS-1.6-type chili harvester picking device, the devicestructure and motion parameters is not reasonable, resulting in vibration and noisy, hot pepper harvestperformance is not an ideal situation, the analysis of picking device during operation. Paper picking deviceto establish a key component of the finite element model of the frame structure for static and dynamicperformance analysis of two typical conditions; later by the method of static and dynamic sensitivityanalys is, parameters were optimized for rack, rack-optimized weight, reduce vibration; built test benchpicking performance tests conducted by orthogonal experiment and data processing, the regression equationof motion parameters optimum picking device combinations and various factors associated with mining thenet rates. This study means to enhance the picking peppers, chili harvester developed to provide atheoretical basis and practical value.The main work and achievements are as follows:(1)Taking4LS-1.6chili harvester harvesting device as the research object, in-depth studyof the picking device structure and working principle of the establishment ofthree dimens ional model, thepicking device. Don’t by PROE into ANSYS andfrom the top to the method of direct modeling, the pickingracks, spring tooth,guard plate finite element model is built.(2)Analysis of the picking device mainly four types of loads at work, and calculated at the level ofbending conditions and conditions in the ultimate twist typical conditions both static characteristics rack,the rack was found in strength there are a lot of surplus capacity, there are weight loss of space research forthe lightweight device picked foundation.(3) On racks modal analysis, vibration mode front rack ten first order vibration frequency of13.945Hz,below engine excitation frequency, is the main cause violent vibrations picking device with a huge noise.(4) According to the sensitivity of the mechanical structure optimization design method implementedin ANSYS on the rack were static and dynamic sensitiv ity calculation, the weight of the rack size effects onthe most sensitive parameters, and these parameters were optimized to modify and optimize the weight rackreduced by15%, the first order frequency reaches31.6051Hz.(5) The stage of picking device design and experimental research picking frame, by the method oforthogonal experiment, using Matlab software for data processing, pepper picking device optimumcombination of structural parameters and motion parameters, feed rate of1.2m/s, spring-tooth spacing of45mm, roller speed is180r/min.
