In this article, thirteen strains of Corylus.heterophylla.×C.avellana L.(80-13、85-152、82-11、84-36、82-15、80-4、85-49、80-43、84-254、B21、84-310、84-226and83-33)as the test material, deal withbranches under﹣15℃,﹣20℃,﹣25℃,﹣30℃,﹣35℃and﹣40℃; deal with male inflorescence under0℃,﹣10℃,﹣15℃,﹣20℃,﹣25℃and﹣30℃; deal with12h,24h and36h in the same low temperature.Determine the indexes of relative conductivity, malondialdehyde(MDA) content, proline(Pro) content,soluble sugar content, peroxidase (POD) activity, germination rate and pollen viability, analyse thevariation, and impress on analysis of variance, correlation analysis and principal component analysis toevaluate the cold resistance, the following was the research results:(1) Relative conductivity of the male inflorescence increased with decreasing temperature,showed the“S” curve, relative conductivity of thirteen strains was the different, when relative conductivity was smaller,the cold resistance was stronger, contrary it was weaker. Relative conductivity and LT50were increased withthe treatment time,when male inflorescence was treated36h in﹣40℃, it was given the most serious injury.Under low temperature for12h, LT50of84-254was﹣18.89℃; LT50of B21was﹣10.45℃; the otherswere between﹣10℃~﹣17℃. Under low temperature for24h, LT50of84-254was﹣15.23℃; LT50of83-33was﹣7.39℃; the others were between﹣8℃~﹣14℃. Under low temperature for36h, LT50of84-254was﹣11.2℃; LT50of83-33was﹣5.56℃; the others were between﹣5℃~﹣10℃.(2) By compared four determination methods to determine the pollen viability, defined the method ofMTT was the best method to determine the hybrid hazelnut pollen viability. Deal with thirteen strains ofmale inflorescence under low temperature, it can stretch and loose, but pollen viability decreased withdecreasing temperature, when dealing with36h at-30℃, the pollen viability down to4.6%. According tothe pollen viability changes with low temperature, can determine the cold resistance differences of maleinflorescence.(3) Relative conductivity of the branches increased with decreasing temperature,showed the “S” curve,relative conductivity of thirteen strains was the different, when relative conductivity was smaller, the coldresistance was stronger, contrary it was weaker. Relative conductivity and LT50were increased with thetreatment time,when branches was treated36h in﹣40℃, it was given the most serious injury. Under lowtemperature for12h, LT50of84-254was﹣33.99℃; LT50of B21was﹣27.21℃; the others were between﹣27℃~﹣33℃. Under low temperature for24h, LT50of84-254was﹣28.57℃; LT50of B21was﹣24.22℃; the others were between﹣24℃~﹣28℃. Under low temperature for36h, LT50of84-254was﹣23.96℃; LT50of83-33was﹣18.1℃; the others were between﹣18℃~﹣21℃. Cold tolerance of brancheswas much higher than the male inflorescence,it can adapt the low temperature of﹣34℃.(4)The results of each cold index of branches showed that: Deal with12h,24h and36h under lowtemperature, MDA content,Pro content and soluble sugar content all increased with temperature decreased;POD activity and germination rate decreased with temperature decreased. Pro content,soluble sugarcontent,POD activity and germination rate with the cold resistance was the relationship of positivecorrelation, when the value of them was bigger, the cold resistance of hybrid hazelnut was the best. If not, itwas weaker. MDA content with the cold resistance was the relationship of negative correlation, when itbecome bigger, branches were injured serious. (5)Deal with12h,24h and36h under low temperature, MDA content,Pro content, POD activity andgermination rate of the different strains and temperature were both very significant differences. Deal with12h under low temperature, soluble sugar content of the different strains was significant differences, it wasvery significant differences in different temperature; At24h, the index of the different strains andtemperature were both very significant differences; At36h, the index of the different strains was significantdifferences, it was very significant differences in different temperature.(6)Deal with12h and24h under low temperature, relative conductivity with MDA content was therelationship of notable positive correlation, with Pro content soluble sugar content, POD activity andgermination rate was the relationship of a very notable negative correlation. Deal with36h under lowtemperature, relative conductivity with MDA content was the relationship of notable positive correlation,with POD activity and germination rate was the relationship of a very notable negative correlation. MDAcontent,Pro content, soluble sugar content,POD activity and germination rate can be the effective index toevaluate the cold resistance of hybrid hazelnut.(7)The results of principal component analysis showed that:Deal with12h under low temperature,according to ananlyze thirteen strains of the cold resistance can know it’s sequence:84-254>85-152>85-49>84-36>83-33>84-310>82-15>82-11>B21>84-226>84-254>80-43>80-4>80-13; Dealwith24h under low temperature, according to ananlyze thirteen strains of the cold resistance can know it’ssequence:84-254>84-310>85-152>82-11>80-13>82-15>85-49>80-43>80-4>83-33>84-36>B21>84-226; Deal with36h under low temperature, according to ananlyze thirteen strains of the coldresistance can know it’s sequence:84-254>85-152>83-33>84-36>82-11>85-49>84-310>84-226>B21>82-15>80-4>80-43>80-13.(8)In a word, by analyze the cold resistance of thirteen strains can know their sequence:84-254>85-152>85-49>84-310>82-11>83-33>84-36>82-15>B21>80-43>84-226>80-13>80-4.
