Dign And Experiments Research For The Key Components Of The Walnut Cleaning Machine

In Xinjiang fruit industry, walnut is the fastest growing species. The demand of walnut deepprocessing products is more and more urgent in market. Choosing different varieties of walnutand hollow walnut is conducive to improve the grade of product quality, increase the added valueof walnut, also can improve the efficiency of subsequent processing.By calculating the proportion of walnut, we found the solid walnut, hollow walnut anddifferent varieties of walnut has the difference of specific gravity, combined with aerodynamicanalysis, the walnut doing parabolic motion in wind and under its own gravity, and point hasdisplacement differences along the horizontal direction, conform to the principle of walnutcleaning, and has calculated the minimum suspension speed of walnut.Research based on aerodynamic parameters of the walnut, has developed a walnut cleaningmachine. The machine’s delivery device transports walnut in feeding box uniformly andcontinuous to the guide device. Under the interaction of flow field provided from the fan and theself-gravity, walnut is entering the receiving box in different horizontal distance. The differentproportion of walnut or hollow walnut respectively fall into different bins, so as to realize theseparation of solid walnut,hollow walnut and walnut which has big difference proportion.In the GAMBIT we have built a geometry model of the key component–air tube, setting theinitial parameters, using FLUENT to simulate the air flow field of air tube. After thesimulation,calculated the airflow velocity Numerical are broadly in line with experimentalmeasured results. According to the simulation of the flow field distribution is not ideal, we haveimproved the structure size of the air tube and simulated. Finally obtained the good effect.Through the walnut cleaning machine orthogonal test with experimental material, verified thecorrectness of the theoretical analysis, determined the cleaning effect of machine. We got the bestparameter combination of main influence factors, and calculated the cleaning regression equationof cleaning machine at the multiple test index.
