The unique climate conditions and enough sunshine of Xinjiang make the tomatoes, peppers and othervegetables production scale increasing year by year. As a cultivation technique, technology of transplantingcan take advantage of the light and heat resources, and improve multiple cropping index, havecompensation for the climate and make the overall efficiency of crop growth ahead, and have moreincomparable superiority than direct seeding. However, the lack of supporting transplanting machineslowing the rate of expansion of production scale, and restricting the promotion and application oftransplanting technology. For this reason, summarizes the development of transplanting machines are stillmany problems with the contrast research status at home and abroad: Firstly, agricultural and agronomicdetachment. It is not enough that breeding techniques developed in conjunction with mechanicaltransplanting. Secondly, lacking of automatic transplanting machine basic research, transplanting is difficultto achieve a major breakthrough in technology. And most studies have focused on the development orrenovation work slow semi-automatic transplanting machine. The developed transplanting machine has asingle function, poor universality, and difficult to meet the needs of multi-species planting, etc.Accordingly, this paper presents a mode of bowl seedling transplanting into groups. It takesbiodegradable bowl seedling to transplant in group units. That solved one by one to slow seedlings, laborintensity and other "bottleneck" problem restricting the development of transplanting technology. The maincontents are:1)By analyzing the physical characteristics of the existing biodegradable seedling bowls’ material, andaccording to the needs of group transplanting model to design the structure and intensity of the groupseedling pot.The design contents include: A single seedling pot and seedling plate structure design;According to the resistance force of its own gravity of group seedling pot to design the thickness and groupseedling pot in-connection way; By overcoming the transportation shock to design seedling pot componentsconnected.2)Design and arrange into groups seedling transplanting machine function and structure. Through thetheoretical calculation to provide the traction, traction power and suspension force of the machine neededso as to select the suitable tractor.According to the conveyor belt possible power, to design the transmissionscheme and select the appropriate parts.3)Adpoting three-dimensional graphics software, Solidworks,to design the group transplanting machineparts such as chassis, seedling tray, conveyor belts, power plant, ditching, earthing and compaction andbuild a three-dimensional model of the machine. After the feasibility of the transplanting scheme andprinciple has been verified, the entity model will be built and parts of the prototype will be checked forsecurity.4)Prototype transplanting experiment was carried out.Tested the transplanting machine running speed,compared with artificial seedling one plant a second, and verified the superiority of group transplantingmode. Referenced tractor minimum forward velocity to evaluate the applicability and promotion value ofpot seedling transplanted machine. Transplanted quality evaluation standard selection transplanted depthstability and transplanted seedling plants upright degree of two aspects to verify the feasibility of grouptransplanting mode.The prototype involved is the original prototype, which has many shortcomings. But the process of transplanting can basically be finished, which has been able to show the superiority of group transplantingmode.That has the great significance to solve the small crops planting distance transplanting problem suchas slow speed, high labor intensity. This can provide research foundation for the future research of theautomation group seedling transplanting, saving seedling space and high speed transplanting, etc.
