In this paper, a new kind of throwing transplanting machine for flat rice seedling entitled cubed rice seedling transplanting machine, which was able to automatic cutting the flat seedling into cube was designed. The relational theoretical analysis and the virtual simulation analysis were performed. The new developing application in the agricultural machinery design of virtual prototyping technology was explored. According to the present questions that the rice seedling transplanting machine, the cubed rice seedling throwing transplanting machine was design. The parameter of the whole machine and its components were decided. And one of the key parts of the machine, which named the cubed rice seedling equipment were specified. The motion of rice seedling in the course of the throwing seedling method was confirmed further and the influencing factor of throwing rice seedling was obtained. With the ADAMS software, the dynamic analysis of the motion seedling was carried on. The whole machine of 3D model and the virtual assembles were finished with Pro/Engineer software, and through interface of ADAMS, the virtual prototype of this machine was built, and the kinematics simulation was performed, which proved the new cubed rice seedling machine was feasible.
