Study On Agricultural Information Service Model Based On3G Technology

China’s agricultural development is not balanced, the vast rural areas still have some objectiveproblems, such as the agricultural information acquisition is either timely or smoothly etc. To help thefarmers access to information has become a big problem, and it also becomes a urgent researchtopic for the vast number of agricultural workers.With the rapid development of3G technology, advanced information technique will play animportant role for establishing the agricultural information system. How to use the advancedtechnology combined with the agricultural production technology and help future agriculturalinformatization have become a new task for us.In this article, we did a sufficient investigation of the communication of3G technology at thetechnical and application level; made a theoretical analysis of international3G technical services inthe present situation and the domestic3G business;did a research investigation on the intelligentmobile phone market, netbooks and other mobile terminal and mobile operators;In the light of our national characteristic and our own conditions, we strived to explore the new modeof agricultural information services which based on the actual conditions of the rural areas and theirown infrastructures, and this new mode will be in line with the farmers requirements.We also put forward the idea to establish the information service model based on3G technology;did aresearch on service mode of agricultural information collection, processing, distribution and usermanagement etc; completed the design of service mode; did a detailed analysis on the functions andrequirements of the agricultural information management system; proposed the solution to therealization of the system based on general design ideas.Finally, suggestions were put forward for the new mode’s operation and implementation.
