In recent years, as the promoting of planting structure adjustment and land circulation,a large area of dwarf anvil Fuji apple had been planted in taihang mountain in hebei province. Its young period of the buds and leave provides rich food for Maladera Orientalis. The pest’s number has increased and harmed seriously. It was studied that insect host selection behavior of the relationship between the insects and plants, the volatile constituents of M. Orientalis’trapping plants were extracted and identied. The main results were as follows:1、16kinds of plants’trapping effect on M. Orientalis. The trapping effect that16kinds of plant leaves on M. Orientalis’was measured. The result showed:The trapping effect which Salix babylonica, Sophora japonica, Glycine max (black bean), Phaseolus angularis, Glycine max (soybean), Arachis hypogaea, Ricinus communis and Convolvulus arvensis’s leave were significantly better than the apple leaves, the trapping effect of black beans leaves were the best, the trapping rate was71.17%; the trapping effect of Vigna radiata leaf and apple leaf was no difference; Other plant leafs was lower than apple’s.2、8kinds of leguminous plant’s trapping effect of the male and female M. Orientalis. Four legumes that had better trapping effect in the above test were selected, at the same time we added four supplementary:Red kidney bean, Coloured kidney bean, Black kidney bean and Vigna unguiculata. then trapping test of M. Orientalis respectively male and female adults was conducted, the test results was as follows:8kinds of legumes on male M. Orientalis’trapping capacity of only slightly Black kidney bean was better than the Salix babylonica, the order of this plant’s capacity for trapping:Black kidney bean> black bean>Coloured kidney bean> Red kidney bean> soybean> Vigna unguiculata>Phaseolus angularis> Arachis hypogaea; for M. Orientalis female, only black kidney beans and blackbean’s trapping effect was slightly stronger than the willow, the strength of the order of trapping ability of various plants as:Black kidney bean> black bean> Coloured kidney bean> Red kidney bean> soybean>Phaseolus angularis> Arachis hypogaea>Vigna unguiculata. According to the known experimental data, it was difficult to see the adult sex had any obvious effect on M. Orientalis’response to the trend of different plants.3、Smell trap experiment. The plants that had high traping effect were selected, the choice reaction rate of M. Orientalis for blackbean, Ricinus communis, Arachis hypogaea, Phaseolus angularis and Maluspumila were56%,54%,50%,46%,46%, in this choice, black bean, Ricinus communis, Arachis hypogaea were higher than the Malus pumila, Phaseolus angularis and Malus pumila were the same selectivity.4、Different components extraction and identification of plant leaves.Active ingredients of the extract and identified by some of the molecular weight between100-200of organic matter, such as hydrocarbons, alcohols, ketones, organic acids, nitrogen compounds, etc. In all kinds of effective components extracted and identified, five plants containing ingredients together only carbon dioxide,(Z)-3-hexene acetate and cis-3-hexenol, and the content of (Z)-3-hexene acetate are more than10%, in the black bean, Black kidney bean and Salix babylonica the content is more than fifty percent, the (Z)-3-hexene acetate in Salix babylonica even reached71.935%.The innovation points of this study:(1)The preliminary has been clear about the black bean was advantage trap plants for M. Orientalis, the result provided the basis for demanding or drilling black bean to trap M. Orientalis to reduce the harm to the apple buds and leaves.(2) Clearing the kinds of volatile substances of5kinds of plant leaves, the kinds of volatile chemicals contained in the common contain ingredients (Z)-3-hexene acetate and cis-3-hexylene to develop the insect attractants has certain guiding significance. But the above is only the preliminary results for the determination of indoor, it still need further verification.
