Study Of LUCC And Its Driving Force Analysis Based On RS And GIS In Jincheng City

Land is an important material foundation of human survival and development. Many living environment and economic development problems of human society are closely related to land use/land cover change (LUCC), Study of LUCC and its driving force is related to the rational development and protection of national, regional and local land resources, the protection and improvement of ecological environment, farmland protection, food security and socio-economic development and so on. Jincheng city is one of the key coal production places, with the rapid economic development,and urbanization, the demand for various construction land is strong, agricultural land and construction land conflicts have become increasingly prominent.In this paper, based on the remote sensing image of 1990,2000 and 2012,in Jincheng city, socio-economic statistics for 1990-2012, using remote sensing technology and geographic information technologies, land use / cover change was analyzed from land use dynamics change, the type of land use transfer and other aspects of the degree of 1990-2006 in Jincheng city.Land use / land cover changes drivers force was analysed using principal component analysis and gray relational analysis method of Jincheng 1990-2006. The main conclusions of the study are:(1) The land cover is divided into six classifation categories:cultivated land, woodland, grassland, water, construction land and unused land using the maximum likelihood classification method, based on Jincheng’s remote sensing images,(2) According to the statistics on the land use classification results in each period, the statistics showland cover mainly contains cultivated land, woodland and grasslandin Jincheng city. During the period of 1990-2006, Jincheng land use / cover change mainly as follows:farmland and grassland is reduced, woodland, water and construction land is increasing; the cultivated land is turned into mainly woodland, grassland and construction land, forest area increased mainly from the grassland, the grassland increased from cultivated land, construction land was mainly changed by farmland.(3)Land use dynamic analysis of 1990-2012 in Jincheng city showed that:cultivated land, grassland and unused land reduced respectively by the annual rate of,1.95%,0.88%,1.19% forest, water and construction land increased respectively by the rate of 1.6%,2.41%,1.57%, Integrated dynamic degree of 1990-2000 and 2000-2012 were 1.00 and 1.61, compared to the overall dynamic degree of 1990-2012 was 0.72, which shows land use / cover changes rapidly between the year of 2000 and 2012. By analyzing land use degree in Jincheng, it indicats a lower land use degree in Jincheng which is 230 or so (up to 400).(4) The land use / cover drives factors are selected by the principal component analysis and gray correlation analysis method based on the Jincheng statistics,which shows the results keep consistent, The main land use / cover changes driving force in Jincheng city is urban development, agricultural development, population growth, increasing household wealth.(5) Urban development, agricultural development, population growth and increased household wealth has a very close relationship with urbanization. So the driving force of Jincheng land use / cover change is summarized as urbanization. We should implement stringent costruction land protection policy, intensive land use policy and land-use control system to promote the sustainable use of land resources in the process of urbanization in Jincheng city.
